The Loan Origination Borrower Profile Agent reviews borrower profiles and recommends loan options per available options.

Overview

Overview

The Loan Origination Borrower Profile Agent is designed to address the complexities of matching borrowers with suitable loan products by analyzing their financial profiles and the properties they wish to finance. This agent tackles the challenge of ensuring that borrowers are paired with loans that align with their financial standing, while also identifying potential risks and affordability concerns. By doing so, it helps streamline the loan origination process and ensures that borrowers are provided with transparent and well-documented recommendations.

To achieve this, the agent evaluates a borrower’s financial data, including brokerage statements, income statements, employment history, and credit reports. It calculates key metrics such as debt-to-income ratios, assesses credit scores and reports to identify qualification risks, and compares the borrower’s financial capacity with the requirements of the target property. Based on this analysis, the agent recommends the most suitable loan types, such as fixed-rate mortgages, adjustable-rate mortgages, or jumbo loans. If the borrower’s financial situation does not support any viable loan options, the agent can escalate the case for human review, ensuring that no critical cases are overlooked.

The agent is equipped with several example tools and escalation mechanisms to enhance its functionality. Mock tools exist for retrieving financial data, such as brokerage statements, credit histories, and employment records, ensuring that all necessary information is available for analysis. Additionally, a tool is included for escalating cases to a human expert using UiPath Action Center when the borrower's financial situation necessitates human review. This escalation includes detailed information about the the borrower, ensuring a seamless handoff and resolution process. This human-in-the-loop mechanism is presented using UiPath Action Apps as a user interface. These capabilities ensure that the agent can handle a wide range of scenarios, from straightforward loan approvals to complex cases requiring human intervention.
